Come and join Julie in this beginner friendly workshop to learn the basics of hand smocking on 18th May 2024 from 10.00am until 2.00pm (part 1 of 2)

Cost of class is £55.00 per person attending.

You will need: sewing kit (needle, needle threader, thread, scissors, etc) Embroidery thread for your smocking.

You will also need wax dots for smocking which will be available to purchase on the day.

We will provide: Fabric/cotton for the gathering/smocked panel, full tuition.

 Cancellation Policy

All workshops/classes must be pre-booked and paid for, either online - this can be done via the Superior Sewing Centre website - or in store at the point of sale by asking one of Superior Sewing Centre staff to help you.  

All workshops and classes must be paid for in full when booking.

We are sorry but sometimes we have to cancel a class due to circumstances beyond our control. If this arises we will aim to give you 14 days (two weeks) notice, however a full refund of the workshop/class fee will be given in any eventuality where we have to cancel a workshop/class. 

Superior Sewing Centre will not be held responsible for any other expenses in relation to a booking cancelled by Superior Sewing Centre.

If you need to cancel your workshop/class booking, we require a minimum 14 days (two weeks) notice prior to the workshop/class date for you to receive a refund (less £3 administration charge).

No refund can be given if less than 14 days (two weeks) notice is given.

No transfer forward of workshop/classes is allowed should you not be able to attend your original booked date. If you do not attend your original booked class and have not provided 14 days (two weeks) notice, the fee will not be refunded and your place in a future workshop/class will only be secured by a fresh booking and payment of fee.

If you cannot attend a workshop/class and wish to gift your place to another person, this may be allowed at the discretion of Superior Sewing Centre Management and provided that the workshop/class has already been paid for in full and the name of the new attendee is provided for insurance purposes.

No ‘drop-ins’ will be allowed on the day of a workshop/class.with the exception of the weekly dress-making class where ‘drop-ins’ are allowed.
