Malabrigo - Ultimate Sock yarn

Adding 25% nylon to their wildly popular sock yarn, Malabrigo has truly created an Ultimate yarn!

Smoothly plied and lightweight, this sock yarn comes in a range of favourite colourways, as well as some stunning, exclusive shades! Spun from luxurious merino and hard-wearing nylon, Ultimate Sock is treated to make it machine washable for easy care. Don't be fooled by the name- while it's certainly a treat for the feet, this delightful yarn is also a particular favourite for shawls and scarves!

All Malabrigo yarns are kettle dyed in small batches and often don't have a dye lot, which means the colours are likely to vary from skein to skein, even within the same batch. To ensure random colour distribution, try working from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball. Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project as the next batch we receive could be very different!

Due to differences in dye distribution between batches, it is not possible for us to update our product images to match current mixes exactly, and the images shown may not match the yarn you receive.

Please note: This yarn is supplied in a hank which requires winding before use. Attempts to use this yarn from the hank, rather than from a ball, will result in tangles, knots, and frustration!
