It has a front loading bobbin, two retractable spool pins to enable twin needle work, drop feed facility for free motion sewing. A removable storage box gives the user a free arm for sewing hard to reach areas like sleeves, cuffs and trouser legs.
The machine offers 22 useful stitches, including straight stitch and zig zag as well as blind hem and stretch stitches. A four step buttonhole enables the user to create buttonholes in a range of sizes to suit each project.
It has variable stitch length and width and a range of extra feet for fancy and utility stitches. Bulky fabrics and multiple layers are no longer a battle as they can be sewn with ease using the Janome 2200XT extra high presser foot lifter.
