Join Soukiesoo for this enchanting and wonderful hand sewing and embroidery day!

Susan will be with us on SUNDAY 27th October 2024 from 10:30am - 3:30pm showing us how to create these stunning heirloom Christmas pieces and the workshop is suitable for all levels of experience although some hand sewing experience would be preferred.

Two kits to choose from:

  1. Stockings and Bears - the kit will comprise linen and thread to create three small gift stockings and three little bears in each kit. There will be a small amount of EPP (English paper piecing) on the stockings and the bears employ a few different embroidery stitches but are simple enough to make. These are perfect for hanging on the Christmas tree or as place settings on the Christmas table.
  2. Christmas Stars - the kit will comprise linen and thread to create six beautiful stars, finished with ribbon and perfect for your Christmas tree or any hanging space you choose.

The workshop is suitable for all levels of experience.

Additional kits and thread sets will be available to purchase on the day.

Materials Supplied: - Linen and thread appropriate to the kit chosen

Materials Required: - Please bring your usual hand sewing kit including white hand sewing thread, sharp scissors etc. although extras of scissors, pins, needles will be available to borrow.

Please also bring your lunch. We are not able to provide lunch but tea/coffee/biscuits will be provided.
